Offline UUID converter
Generate the Java Edition offline-mode (cracked) UUID for any username. This is not the same as a Microsoft / Mojang online UUID.
Convert username
Before you change player data
An offline UUID is calculated from the exact username, including capitalization. It is not proof of account ownership. A proxy can forward authenticated player UUIDs even when the backend runs in offline mode, so check the UUID in your actual player data before using this result.
Moving between offline and online authentication can change the identifiers used for inventories, permissions and claims. Back up the world and plugin data first, and follow each plugin's migration instructions. Replacing every UUID in a database can attach data to the wrong player.
Why does changing capitalization change the result?
The calculation uses the exact string OfflinePlayer: followed by the username. Changing a letter changes the name-based UUID. Enter the spelling your server actually uses.
Can I find someone's current Minecraft account UUID here?
No. This converter calculates an offline identifier without checking a Minecraft account. It cannot confirm whether the name exists, belongs to someone or has changed.
Should I use the result with or without hyphens?
Both formats represent the same UUID. Use the format expected by the file or plugin you are editing; check its documentation or an existing entry first.
