Whitelisted Bedrock Edition Minecraft Servers
Check access requirements before choosing a community.Find Bedrock communities that require approval before joining. Confirm which account name staff need, whether the server is Bedrock-native or crossplay, and whether your device supports its connection method. Approval and being able to reach the server are separate requirements.

Get the right Bedrock identity approved
A Bedrock community may run a native server or connect Bedrock players to a Java network. Those setups can identify players differently. Send staff the details they request and say explicitly that you are a Bedrock player; do not guess a Java username prefix.
On a crossplay network, account linking can affect approval. Ask whether you should connect once, link an existing account or wait for staff to add you. Community acceptance does not add custom-server access to a device that lacks that connection option.
Before applying from Bedrock
Confirm your platform and connection
Ask whether your Windows, mobile or console setup is supported and which address and port to use. A Java address alone is not complete Bedrock joining information.
Provide the requested gamertag
Include spaces and spelling exactly as requested. If the network uses a crossplay prefix, let staff confirm it rather than inventing one.
Explain any account linking
Tell staff if you already play there on Java or have linked accounts. Ask which identity is approved and what happens if you later unlink.
Check communication requirements
Read how applications, events and support work. If chat or voice tools are required, make sure you can use them comfortably alongside your device.

Bedrock whitelist and crossplay questions
Should I apply with my gamertag or Java name?
Start by telling staff your Bedrock gamertag and that you are joining from Bedrock. A crossplay network may use a different internal identity or account linking; follow its instructions.
Why does my name have a prefix?
Some crossplay configurations distinguish Bedrock identities from Java names. Naming rules are configurable, so use the identity staff request instead of assuming a particular symbol.
Do I need approval if my Java account is already accepted?
It depends on linking and the network's setup. An unlinked Bedrock account may be treated as a different player. Ask before submitting a second application or expecting shared inventory.
Can I join from a console once whitelisted?
Only if you also have a supported way to connect from that console. Approval does not change the device's server browser. Confirm supported platforms with the owner.
What should I send staff when joining fails?
Provide your edition, device, gamertag, the address and port used, and the exact error message. Say whether you receive an access-denied message or cannot reach the server. Do not include passwords or sign-in codes.
