What to check on a SkyBlock server
Check the resource loop
Find out which blocks and items come from generators, shops, challenges or other islands. Confirm how essential resources can be replaced after a mistake.
Read island permissions
Check who can open containers, change settings or remove members. Use limited permissions for visitors and agree on ownership before starting a shared island.
Understand the scoring
Island value may depend on placed blocks, tasks, money or custom systems. Read the rules if you want to compete; a decorative build may score differently from a optimized island.
Review automation limits
Ask about redstone, entities, hoppers and unattended farming. Shared server performance can require limits that do not exist in singleplayer.

Is SkyBlock the same as OneBlock?
No. SkyBlock describes island survival with limited resources. OneBlock centers on a regenerating block. A network may offer both as separate modes.
Can friends share one island?
Check the team-size limit and how invitations work. Decide who owns the island and what happens if the owner leaves.
What if I lose an essential item?
Look for replacement recipes, shops, challenges or support procedures. Do not assume staff will restore an item lost to the void.
Do islands reset?
Some run seasons; others aim for persistent worlds. Ask whether resets affect buildings, inventories, upgrades and competitive rewards.
How is island level calculated?
The calculation is server-specific. Read the guide before placing large quantities of blocks solely for score.
Is PvP part of SkyBlock?
It may be limited to arenas or separate areas, or absent entirely. Check island safety and visit permissions if you want cooperative play.
