mcMMO adds skill progression to familiar Minecraft activities. A server can configure how quickly skills grow and which abilities are available, so levels from one community are not directly comparable with another. Check training rules, ability limits and reset policies before committing to a build.

What to check on a MCMMO server
Inspect enabled skills
Read the local skill guide rather than assuming every feature is enabled. The server may change rewards, abilities or access to suit its game modes.
Check training restrictions
Placed blocks, automatic farms and repeated actions may earn different experience or none at all. Learn anti-exploit rules before designing a training setup.
Understand combat effects
Skill bonuses may work differently in PvP, arenas or protected zones. Check caps and cooldowns before treating a level as a guarantee of combat strength.
Ask about persistence
Skill levels, party membership and unlocked perks can follow different reset rules. Find out what survives a new map and whether progress transfers between network modes.

MCMMO server FAQs
Is mcMMO a complete game mode?
It is a progression system that a server can combine with survival, factions or other modes. Read the underlying world and combat rules as well.
Do all mcMMO servers use the same rates?
No. Skills and progression are configurable, so compare the local guide and starting experience.
Do I need a special client?
Check the listing’s full requirements. The mcMMO label by itself does not establish that a client modpack is needed.
Can skills affect PvP?
They may, depending on configuration and the arena. Check ability restrictions and level caps.
Can I transfer my levels?
Not between unrelated communities unless they explicitly provide a migration process. Network modes can also keep separate progress.
Why did an action earn no experience?
The action may be excluded, capped or treated as exploitative farming. Read the local skill rules and report reproducible issues to staff.
