Jobs servers add rewards for selected activities such as mining, building or farming. The useful questions are which actions qualify, how payouts are limited, and whether job levels survive a reset. A Jobs tag describes a progression feature, so check the underlying game mode too.

What to check on a Jobs server
Read qualifying actions
Not every block break or harvest earns a reward. Placed blocks, automated farms and repeated actions may be excluded. Test the payout display before designing a farm around assumed income.
Check switching costs
Some systems let you hold several jobs; others reset progress or charge a fee when you change. Find out what happens to levels and perks before choosing an unfamiliar role.
Compare time and reward
Look at cooldowns, daily caps and material costs. A high advertised payout can require scarce resources or advanced tools that a new player does not yet have.
Check economy interactions
Job income affects shops, taxes and player markets. Ask whether money and job experience reset together, and whether paid ranks alter earning rates or job slots.

Jobs server FAQs
Are Jobs the same as quests?
Jobs generally reward repeatable activities; quests usually define particular objectives. A server can combine both, with different reward and cooldown rules.
Can I have more than one job?
That depends on the system and your available slots. Read whether extra slots require progression, a rank or an in-game purchase.
Do automatic farms earn job rewards?
Do not assume so. Many systems distinguish direct player actions from automated production, and the server may separately restrict unattended earning.
Will changing jobs remove my levels?
The server can retain, reduce or reset them. Check the change confirmation and ask staff before abandoning a high-level role.
Why did an action pay nothing?
Possible reasons include an excluded material, a placed block, a cooldown or an earnings cap. Compare the action with the job description before reporting a bug.
What carries through a reset?
Job level, currency and unlocked perks can have separate reset rules. Read the season announcement rather than assuming they all persist.
