An Auctions tag tells you a server offers some form of player trading. It does not tell you whether that market is busy, whether listings expire, or how fees work. Compare the trading rules alongside the main game mode before building your progression around buying and selling.

What to check on a Auctions server
Understand the sale format
An auction can mean competitive bidding or a fixed-price marketplace. Check how the interface handles bids, buyouts and confirmations before listing a valuable item.
Calculate the full cost
Listing fees, sales tax and relisting costs can make a seemingly profitable trade unprofitable. Try a low-value transaction first and verify how much currency you actually receive.
Check delivery and expiry
Find out where unsold items and purchased goods go. Mailboxes and collection menus may have capacity limits or timers, so do not assume everything stays available indefinitely.
Read market restrictions
Some items cannot be traded; alternate-account bidding and price manipulation may also break the rules. Ask what evidence is needed for a dispute and whether mistaken purchases can be reversed.

Auctions server FAQs
Is an auction server a separate game mode?
Usually it is a feature within survival, skyblock or another mode. Open the listing to understand what you will do outside the marketplace.
Do all markets use bidding?
No. Some interfaces called auction houses mainly use fixed prices. Read the sale confirmation and item details before accepting a price.
Can I cancel a sale?
That depends on the marketplace and whether someone has bid or purchased. Check cancellation costs and restrictions before listing something you may want back.
What happens to an expired listing?
It may return to an inventory or collection menu, sometimes with a claim deadline. The server’s own market instructions determine the recovery process.
Are item names enough to verify a purchase?
No. Inspect quantity, enchantments, durability and any custom attributes. Renamed items can look similar while having different practical value.
Does in-game currency have a cash value?
Do not assume that it can be exchanged for money. Check the community’s trading rules and avoid off-platform payment arrangements presented as part of ordinary gameplay.
