Raiding servers make other players’ bases or resources part of the competition. What counts as a legal raid differs: explosives, theft, offline attacks and claim capture may each have separate rules. Read those rules before investing in a defense or attacking another group.

Raiding: gameplay & guides
Watch players find and raid bases on Factions and survival communities. These examples concern servers where raiding is part of play; always check the rules before attacking another player's build.

Set up Raidable content
Configure raidable-base plugins or Factions stacks that support raiding. These systems are complex—test thoroughly before a public season.

What to check on a Raiding server
Learn protection limits
Check what claims protect and which conditions remove that protection. A locked container, claimed chunk and safe zone may follow different rules.
Check attack windows
Scheduled raids and offline protection can change when a base is vulnerable. Verify the stated time zone and any exceptions for recent combat.
Read allowed tools
Cannons, glitches and bypass techniques may be treated differently. Use the published rules instead of assuming anything technically possible is allowed.
Understand recovery
Ask what persists after a raid, whether rollback is available for rule violations, and what screenshots or logs staff need to investigate.

Raiding server FAQs
Is raiding always allowed?
Only within the server’s rules. The tag does not authorize attacks in protected areas or using prohibited techniques.
Can I raid an offline player?
Check offline protection and raid windows. Different worlds or claim types may use different policies.
Is stealing the same as griefing?
Communities may permit one and prohibit the other. Read the definitions and examples in the local rules.
Will staff restore a raided base?
Legitimate raids may be final. Restoration for a rule violation depends on the evidence and the community’s policy.
Do I need a faction?
Not always, but group systems can affect claims and access. Check solo restrictions and team limits.
How can I practice safely?
Look for a practice arena or a permitted test area. Do not test an unfamiliar raid technique on another player’s base without knowing the rules.
