Anarchy describes a server’s approach to player conflict, not a universal rulebook. Some worlds allow theft and base destruction while still restricting cheats, exploits or harassment. Read the actual rules before joining, and decide whether losing a base is part of the experience you want.

Anarchy: gameplay & guides
Watch players navigate 2b2t, attempt survival without hacks and escape a trap. This is footage from a particular anarchy community, whose history and rules do not represent every server with this tag.

Survival guides for anarchy communities such as 2b2t. Each anarchy server has its own history, client rules and spawn conditions.
Set up an Anarchy server
Host a low-restriction Paper server and hear from operators who have run anarchy communities. No-rules play still needs backups, hardware and legal awareness.
Videos belong to their creators. Examples may use custom rules, mods or older releases. Check individual listings for current server features and access. The YouTube player loads when you press play.

What to check on a Anarchy server
Read the exceptions
Check client modifications, duplication, alternate accounts and chat rules separately. A server calling itself anarchy can still ban particular behaviors. Rules may also differ between the main world and spawn.
Plan your first journey
A damaged or hostile spawn can make the first few minutes difficult. Learn the world border and travel rules, then carry only what you can afford to lose while finding a place to settle.
Treat secrecy as protection
Before sharing coordinates or inviting a teammate, think about what they can access. Claims may not exist. Public screenshots, portals and travel routes can reveal a base even when you never post its coordinates.
Check world history
Ask whether the map persists, whether resets happen, and how inactive accounts are handled. A long-lived map offers a different experience from seasonal anarchy, but neither label guarantees that your build will survive.

Anarchy server FAQs
Does anarchy mean no rules?
No. It usually signals fewer restrictions on player conflict. The owner can still set rules for clients, exploits, chat and access. The published rulebook takes precedence over the tag.
Are hacked clients allowed?
Do not assume so. Some anarchy communities allow specific modifications and others prohibit them. Check the current rules before installing or using a client.
Can someone destroy my base?
That is possible where griefing is permitted and land protection is absent. Find out whether any protected areas exist before treating a build as permanent storage.
What should I bring away from spawn?
Start with basic food, tools and spare materials, keeping valuable items out of your first scouting trip. The safest route and useful equipment depend on the world and server rules.
Is anarchy always PvP?
Player combat is common, but the tag alone does not describe combat restrictions, safe zones or death penalties. Read the listing and in-game rules for those details.
Is there a beginner-friendly alternative?
If you want exploration without unrestricted base destruction, compare survival communities with explicit anti-griefing rules and working land protection. PvP can still be available in designated areas.
