What to check on a Cobblemon server
Match the complete installation
Check the Minecraft version, mod loader, Cobblemon release and required additions. A client with the right base mod can still fail to join a server that uses a different pack.
Compare collecting rules
Spawns, rewards and access to rare encounters may be customized. Read the server’s progression guide rather than assuming a video from another community describes its settings.
Inspect battle expectations
Competitive formats, banned choices and level rules can vary. Decide whether you want casual exploration, organized battles or both before investing time in a team.
Check trade and reset policies
Learn how trades are confirmed and what survives a season reset. Pokémon, inventories, land and currency may have separate retention rules.

Cobblemon server FAQs
Is Cobblemon the same as Pixelmon?
No. They are separate projects with different installations and server ecosystems. Use the pack specified by the community you want to join.
Can a normal unmodified client connect?
Do not assume so. Read the required client setup and install the exact mod or pack version supplied by the community.
Are all Pokémon or mechanics available?
Availability depends on the project version and server additions. Check the local guide for specific features instead of assuming complete coverage.
Can I trade with other players?
If the server supports and permits it. Read trade confirmation, dispute and economy rules before exchanging valuable team members.
Will my collection survive a reset?
Only the server’s reset policy establishes that. Collection data and world data may be handled separately.
Can Bedrock players join?
A Java modded setup does not automatically support Bedrock. Require explicit, workable joining instructions before treating any crossplay claim as compatible with your device.
